Nemo Design
August 2006 – April 2010
My work at Nemo in their environment department. Projects have included retail initiatives for Nike 6.0, Nike Running events, Nike Training in-store, Smith retail, and many others. Scope of work has ranged from logo development, collateral concepting through prototyping and creation, curated windows and building initiatives for national distribution.
Big-Giant
April – July 2006
Full-time internship which I worked closely with other designers on a wide variety of projects. My role ranged from conceptual development, rendering retail spaces, screen printing limited edition items, developing websites, to making production files.
Plazm Media
January – March 2006
Design internhip with Josh Berger advising the process. Work for clients including Nike, The AIA, PNCA & Plazm’s magazine. Duties ranged from communicating with printers, selecting photography, designing spreads & production of materials.
LEADERSHIP
Hankbuilt Cycling Crew
August 2006 – Current
To make the greatest cycling team in the Pacific Northwest I combined: 1 part love of biking with 2 parts network of close friends and mixed well. The team paricipates in races, charity events and plans to release goods in the coming season.
Nemo Art Shows
July 2008 & February 2010
Hosted two art shows in the Nemo Design gallery space. Both events called for concepting the event, researching artists, coordinating production/delivery, promoting the show and hosting the event. Both events were among Nemo’s most successful shows in both turn
out and overall curation of the space.
AIGA PDX
March 2004– March 2006
Formerly the president of AIPD school group. Managed club activies and finances. Curated design show in Art Institute gallery.
Education
The Art Institute of Portland
Bachelors of Science in Graphic Design. Graduated March 2006.
